About Becker's Models My name is Chris, another returning modeller who built Tamiya tanks as a teenager in the late 80s and early 90s, before joining the Army, and came back to this hobby after finding it a struggle to cope working from home in the early 2010's. My wife suggested taking up scale models again, so I went to my local store, bought an Airfix Spitfire and more than 100 models later, here we are...   About this Website I have a strange affliction - I like to model my aircraft flying...to my shock and horror when returning to this hobby, I found that 97% of all aircraft models (I've counted, trust me) are done wheels down, like a car. So my passion is getting them back in the air! So what you'll find here are my experiments - failed and successful - into bringing those magnificent machines into the air, but in scale form, plus some other areas that I like to dabble in, including sci-fi, armour, ships and figures.    Contact and Social Media
